There’s a new INEOS SUV joining the lineup, and this model features just as much off-road adventure as its older sibling. The INEOS Fusilier will be available as either an electric vehicle or a plug-in hybrid, with a unique range-extender setup designed for exploring the middle of nowhere. We don’t add new models to the lineup at MileOne INEOS Grenadier often, so we’re excited for this upcoming new addition.
Electric Exploration
If you think you can’t explore muddy trails and climb steep hills on all-electric power, this EV will change your mind. Dual electric motors are expected to power the model, and with more than a foot less length than the INEOS Grenadier, it’s more maneuverable when crawling around obstacles. Plus, this SUV is expected to have up to 248 miles of range, enough for days of driving around Silver Springs without a charge.
Flexible Hybrid Range
Are you looking for a greener way to explore, but can’t leave range anxiety behind? The INEOS Fusilier PHEV will feature a unique range-expander design, giving it a gasoline engine, but one that’s only used to power the electric motor. That will give this SUV all of the instant-on torque of an electric powertrain, plus the flexibility to explore where charging stations are hard to find.
When Is the INEOS Fusilier Coming to Maryland?
Changing regulations for hybrids in Europe have delayed the INEOS Fusilier, but this exciting new INEOS vehicle is still on its way. Currently, it’s estimated to hit in 2028-2029. While European regulations caused the delay, it will have ripple effects here in the States. We’ll share more information as we receive it, so watch this space.
